Hammer mill
In the hammer department, we use steam hammers with a bear weight of 400 to 3.000 kg.
We do the forging in combination with electro-oil hydraulic manipulators or manually. A large auxiliary die bearing makes it possible to forge difficult geometric contours, such as journals, hub disks, double hub disks, etc., with low machining allowances to conform to the fibre. In our open-die forge, the Hammerwerk and forging press department complement each other to form a well-rounded production programme.
